Blanco Start
In a world that is becoming more and more digital, we are increasingly yearning for a counterbalance. After many years of digital design and at least ten hours of screen time a day, I felt a growing desire to work creatively with my hands again and to share this process and the joy of it with others. When I poured Jesmonite for the first time and took it out of the mold, I could hardly believe how flawless and silky the surface was. I poured one mold after the other and, looking back, that was the birth of Blanco.
Blanco Design
When someone asks me what design must or should achieve, I always think of our family dining table. Why? Because it has lasted for generations, even traveled with us to Mexico and back once - but that's another story. For us, it was always the place where the family came together every evening. Of course, this requirement cannot simply be met with decorative items. However, since we are still at the beginning, for me it is currently about creating a small design that is timeless, fits harmoniously into different styles and that people are happy to pass on.
